TECH TIP: Proper Storage For Aluminum Wire Affects Weld Quality and Wire Longevity

Image
This Week's Tech Tip Reveals How Proper Storage For Aluminum Wire Affects Weld Quality and Wire Longevity... WARNING: ALUMINUM WIRE WILL GO BAD IF IT IS NOT STORED PROPERLY, REGARDLESS OF HOW LITTLE IT IS BEING USED. It's hard to deny the impact that Aluminum is making on today's collision repair industry... Regardless of whether or not you're an Aluminum expert, it is imperative that you remember to store your Aluminum wires when they are not being used.

Hybrid models and electric turbocharging is also expected to be available starting with the 2024 model year. While it may sound like the OEM is making some uncharacteristic concessions to the modern day, the use of aluminum - or aluminium as the brand's engineers prefer - was actually pioneered by Jaguar in the 1940s.
